Job Description
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst (Process Reengineering Focus) to support government-focused initiatives in Surprise, Arizona. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who can translate operational needs into practical solutions while partnering with stakeholders in a structured, service-driven environment. The role combines business analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes, strengthen customer service operations, and support project delivery within Agile teams.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and clarify business needs by working closely with stakeholders, operational teams, and project partners.
- Evaluate current workflows and identify process gaps, documenting findings and recommending practical improvements.
- Review business and operational documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives and compliance expectations.
- Partner with call center and customer service teams to understand service challenges, define requirements, and support enhanced user experiences.
- Create and maintain business requirements, process maps, user stories, and other project documentation needed for successful delivery.
- Contribute to Agile Scrum activities by supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing communication between business and technical teams.
- Track action items, decisions, and requirement changes to help maintain project clarity and stakeholder alignment.
- Assist with validating solutions through testing support, feedback gathering, and confirmation that business needs have been addressed.
