Job Description
Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting the Fleet Support Engineering and Sustaining Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

- What's the Job?
- + Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for sensor-related fleet issues.
+ Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through comprehensive log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
+ Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault diagnoses and resolutions.
+ Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities, ensuring fleet reliability and performance.
- What's Needed?
- + Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles, focusing on perception systems and sensors.
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
+ Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and troubleshooting safety protocols.
+ Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture, including communication protocols in an operational setting.
+ Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts, with a holistic approach to problem-solving.
