In the role of IT Support Specialist II, we'll count on you to: Provide technical support to users by responding to incoming requests for IT support and resolving network, hardware and software issues with computers Perform technical maintenance and software installations and updates Ability to apply technology to address business needs Assisting staff to achieve efficient and effective use of computing technology and maximize utilization of computer resources Combine a breadth of IT experience with an overarching concern for excellent customer service Participate in enterprise-wide IT projects and initiatives Diagnose system hardware, software, and operator problems Provide desk side assistance upon request for enterprise applications Responsible to request hardware and software through the requisition system Provide hardware, software, mobile device, and printing support Assist with the inventory management of all IT assets Communicate technical support topics or issues of interest Work with Systems Administrators in performing IT infrastructure processes and procedures as needed Provide advanced troubleshooting on complicated IT issues Serve as an example to junior staff when it comes to complicated technical issues Perform other duties as needed This position may require up to 15% travel for scheduled activities Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, ProjectWise and/or GIS This position may include travel Working knowledge of Windows 11/M365. Knowledge of A&E Industry Associate's degree in Computer Science/MIS-related area or equivalent work experience Required Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support of PC, networks and servers Excellent working knowledge of personal computer and peripherals Experience in systems operations and maintenance Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Excellent client service, interpersonal and communication skills Self-starter able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Schedule & Presence:
This on-site role supports 24/7 operations through real-time collaboration, standard shifts occur within a 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM window, Monday through Friday. Additionally, this position requires scheduled on-call flexibility and the ability to remain reasonably reachable during off-hours for critical business continuity. The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
