This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to expand their knowledge and experience in IT support. The ideal candidate will have some experience with troubleshooting Windows systems and a passion for solving technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic help desk support for Windows systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting common hardware and software problems. Guide users through simple technical resolutions over the phone, email, or in person. Perform basic installations, configurations, and updates of Windows operating systems and applications. Create and maintain accurate documentation of support requests and resolutions. Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff as needed. Assist with password resets, printer setups, and network connectivity troubleshooting. Tier 2
Level IT Requirements:
A basic understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office suite. Familiarity with general IT concepts such as hardware components, software installation, and basic networking. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify common technical issues. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Eagerness to learn and grow in the IT field with guidance from senior team members.
Preferred:
Familiarity with Active Directory (user account management) and basic networking concepts. Completion of an IT-related certification (e.g., CompTIA A+ or equivalent).
Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of experience in a help desk or similar IT support role. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in IT or related field is a plus). Passion for technology and helping users resolve technical issues.
