Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide a blend of deskside and help desk support within a fast-paced enterprise environment. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for end users, delivering exceptional technical support while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The ideal candidate will have strong Mac troubleshooting experience, experience supporting large corporate environments, and the ability to confidently interact with executive-level stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide desktop and help desk support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues across a large enterprise environment. Troubleshoot and resolve Mac OS hardware and software issues, serving as a primary point of support for Apple devices. Support Windows 11 environments, including operating system, application, and device troubleshooting. Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical inquiries through ticketing systems, phone support, and onsite deskside assistance. Install, configure, image, and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related hardware. Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and coordinate with internal IT teams for resolution. Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, troubleshooting steps, and asset information. Deliver white-glove support to executive leadership, including Directors, Vice Presidents, and other senior stakeholders. Educate end users on technology best practices and promote a positive customer support experience. Participate in IT projects, hardware refreshes, software rollouts, and office technology initiatives. Required Qualifications 2-5 years of desktop support and/or help desk experience in a large enterprise environment supporting 1,000+ end users. Strong experience troubleshooting Mac hardware, macOS, and Apple endpoints. Experience supporting Windows 11 operating systems and related technologies. Proven ability to provide both deskside and remote support in a corporate environment. Experience working with ticketing systems and documenting technical issues and resolutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise environments with 1,000-2,000+ users. Familiarity with device imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools. Exposure to Microsoft 365 and common enterprise applications. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable supporting executive leadership and providing high-touch customer service. Strong executive presence, professionalism, and attention to detail. High level of integrity, accountability, and reliability. Positive attitude with the ability to build trust and develop strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer support. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Anderson, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
