Shore Lake Dental is a high-tech dental practice committed to providing cutting-edge patient care with modern technology. We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to manage our dental office's IT systems, networking, security, and support .

Responsibilities:

Network & IT Infrastructure Setup:

Install and configure Ubiquiti or Araknis networking hardware for a stable and secure office network. Set up PoE cameras, access points, and secure VLANs for staff and patients. Troubleshoot and maintain network hardware, firewalls, and server equipment. ✅

Dental Office IT Support:

Maintain and troubleshoot dental software (Oryx) . Ensure compliance with HIPAA & cybersecurity best practices . Provide onsite and remote IT support for staff, including hardware and software issues. ✅

Server & Data Security:

Set up secure, cloud-based backup solutions . Monitor and maintain data protection, firewalls, and cybersecurity protocols . Optimize performance for high-speed file transfers and system efficiency . ✅

Troubleshooting & Ongoing Support:

Act as the go-to IT expert for any network, server, or software-related issues . Provide documentation and training for staff on using IT systems efficiently.

Qualifications:

✔ Proven IT experience (5+ years in networking, system administration, or IT support). ✔ Strong knowledge of Ubiquiti UniFi or Araknis networking (firewalls, VLANs, APs, PoE). ✔ Experience with audio-visual installations (Bluesound, KEF, Sonance, multi-zone setups). ✔ Dental IT experience preferred (but not required). ✔ Strong cybersecurity knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, HIPAA compliance). ✔ Ability to troubleshoot and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
