Job Description

Position Overview:
This role is essentially a Vendor Help Desk Analyst / Specialist supporting Client's Project Compass Source-to-Pay initiative. It combines operational support, stakeholder communication, and executive reporting within a finance and procurement context. The position is designed for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, acting as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries while ensuring process optimization and clear executive-level reporting.
Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
Log, triage, and resolve vendor inquiries with speed and accuracy. Perform root‑cause analysis to drive resolution and program success.
Stakeholder Communication:
Deliver clear, empathetic, and professional communication to internal finance teams and external partners. Use templates and tailored messaging to manage complex interactions.
Data & Reporting:
Translate inquiries into actionable insights. Prepare executive‑ready reports highlighting trends, risks, and dependencies to guide leadership decisions.
Process Optimization:
Collaborate cross‑functionally to refine workflows, automate processes, and align with corporate finance standards.
Collaboration:
Partner with finance and operational stakeholders to maximize program value and elevate team performance. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 3-5 years of professional experience in finance operations, vendor management, or inquiry resolution. Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Analytical capability with experience working in big data environments. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in dynamic settings. Preferred Qualifications Experience with accounts payable and financial systems. Knowledge of process management frameworks. Familiarity with report query and design. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholder groups.
