A successful candidate must have the ability to: Deliver quality computer technical support and have the ability to resolve basic computer problems. This includes a wide arrange of job duties from basic computer knowledge, installation of programs, phone and PC/Laptop setups. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following installation specifications. Provide operator training on the use of the system, configuration, and database links. Performing preventative maintenance of ID card printers, cleaning units and replacing worn parts. (Company will train) Oversee the daily performance of computer systems. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software. Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support. Requirements Excellent customer communication skills, both verbal and written. Possess working knowledge of the Windows operating system and Windows-based user applications. Possess the ability to deal effectively with users, peers, and management. Impeccable organizational skill/ability to multitask between projects. Willingness to be flexible. Strong aptitude in OS repairs, hardware, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Patience with customer troubleshooting.
