This role serves as the senior technical lead for end-user technology across an enterprise environment, owning deployments, hardware refreshes, and escalations. It is a strong opportunity for a self-driven desktop and endpoint professional who wants to lead projects, guide technical resources, and improve how an organization supports its employees.
Desktop Services Lead Responsibilities:
Oversee deployment, configuration, and support of laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other workplace technology Coordinate enterprise hardware refreshes, office openings, relocations, and technology rollouts Make sure endpoint deployments meet security, compliance, and operational standards Partner with vendors and internal technology teams to deliver technology implementations Coordinate daily Desktop Services work so incidents, service requests, and project deliverables are completed on time Prioritize work across multiple initiatives while meeting service-level commitments Serve as the primary escalation point for complex desktop, printing, and endpoint issues Lead troubleshooting for critical incidents and high-impact business issues Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Networking, Service Desk, and business teams on integrated solutions Track operational performance and find opportunities to improve service Build and maintain technical documentation, standards, and knowledge articles Analyze recurring issues and put proactive fixes in place Support initiatives that modernize workplace technology services
Desktop Services Lead Qualifications:
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise desktop and workplace technologies Hands-on experience deploying and supporting Windows operating systems, laptops and desktops, enterprise printing, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune, MECM/SCCM, Workspace ONE, or similar Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision Strong experience coordinating technical activities, projects, and operational support Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desktop Services Lead Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading enterprise endpoint refresh or deployment programs ITIL Foundation certification Microsoft endpoint management or workplace technology certifications Experience with ServiceNow or a similar IT service management platform
Desktop Services Lead Pay Rate:
$20 hourly 4CR1
