Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a collaborative technology team in Brunswick, Georgia. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can resolve technical issues across desktops, infrastructure, and networked systems while supporting a fast-paced transport environment. The role combines day-to-day user support with broader technical ownership, including system improvements, documentation, and project participation. Success in this position requires strong communication, sound troubleshooting ability, and a willingness to contribute to after-hours support coverage when scheduled.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, operating systems, business applications, and connectivity issues, ensuring timely resolution for end users.
- Maintain and troubleshoot core IT environments across servers, storage, telephony, networking, and cloud-based platforms.
- Coordinate technology upgrades and deployments by working closely with service providers, vendors, internal stakeholders, and IT team members.
- Support the administration and ongoing reliability of enterprise network services, including wireless, switching, routing, and access management tools.
- Improve and maintain monitoring, automation, and configuration practices to strengthen system performance and operational efficiency.
- Create and update thorough technical documentation for infrastructure, support procedures, and service-related activities.
- Oversee backup processes and contribute to incident response efforts to protect business systems and data availability.
- Track support trends, compile operational data, and prepare recurring or ad hoc reports for IT leadership and other business partners.
- Participate in an on-call rotation that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
