Camp H M Smith, HI Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED IT services information & network security Standard operating procedures (SOPs) IT department experience Full Job Description MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented IT Support Specialists to join our team in Oahu Hawaii and Dallas Texas . Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Approves and monitors the technical support workflow for a diverse range of hardware and software platforms. Coordinate the resolution of escalated technical issues involving network connectivity and enterprise applications. Authorize the distribution of IT assets and the maintenance of detailed equipment inventories for organizational accountability. Oversee the day-to-day operation of Information Technology and Security Groups within a regional distribution framework. Coordinate technical assistance for forward-deployed personnel to ensure the continuous availability of critical mission systems. Validate the setup and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure required for large-scale military exercises in the Pacific. Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Senior Level High school diploma and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience). Professional-level IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+). Mid Level High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience). Foundational IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+). Junior Level CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification. Ability to follow established technical SOPs and maintain accurate technical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years of position-relevant experience. Experience working in a military IT help desk or network operations center. Proficiency in troubleshooting military-unique software and hardware.

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
