Tier 2 Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician for a contract engagement in Cary, IL. This role is ideal for a detail oriented with deep experience in enterprise-level endpoint management and hardware support. You will be responsible for maintaining the health and performance of our technology stack, ranging from standard executive workstations to specialized warehouse mobility tools.

Key Responsibilities Endpoint Management:

Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and 11 operating systems within a large-scale enterprise environment.

Software & Cloud Support:

Provide advanced support for the Microsoft 365 suite and manage device enrollment and software deployment via Microsoft Intune and SCCM.

Specialized Hardware:

Provide hands-on support for Zebra scanners and other warehouse mobility devices to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Infrastructure & AV:

Maintain conference room setups and audiovisual technology to support onsite collaboration.

Networking:

Perform basic troubleshooting for wired and wireless connectivity, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Meraki-based VPN connectivity.

Asset Management:

Track hardware and software lifecycles through diligent asset management and inventory practices.

Identity & Access:

Utilize Active Directory for user management and enterprise IT environment navigation.

Service Delivery:

Manage and resolve support requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system, ensuring high levels of internal user satisfaction. Requirements Proven track record in a Desktop Support or Field Technician role within an enterprise setting. Expertise in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365. Proficiency with SCCM/Intune for imaging and deployment. Hands-on experience with Zebra/mobility hardware. Solid understanding of Meraki networking environments and core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS). Familiarity with ServiceNow; exposure to SAP modules is highly preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, contract-based environment.
