Applications:
Common productivity software suites, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Networking Fundamentals:
Troubleshooting and management of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity protocols.Hardware and Peripherals:
Installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and related IT assets.Mobile Devices:
Configuration and management of smartphones and tablets, including integration with organizational systems and mobile device support.Cybersecurity Principles:
Fundamental awareness of data privacy standards, malware protection, and organizational security policies. Skills needed are the ability to systematically diagnose, isolate, and resolve technical issues by applying logical troubleshooting methodologies. Display the capacity to translate technical concepts into clear, professional language for non-technical users, maintaining a helpful and collaborative demeanor across all communication channels. This person will have the ability to m aintain a high level of communication with Village leadership, supervisors, and staff, working proactively to understand their needs and to align technology-related decisions with the organization's goals. Evaluate current systems and implement enhancements to effectively meet shifting technical and user requirements. Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to drive ongoing improvements to technology services and support processes. Provide after-hours support for emergencies, scheduled on-call rotation, and occasional weekend maintenance. Exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity when evaluating information against measurable or verifiable criteria. Present information effectively and respond to inquiries from non-technical users in a clear, concise manner.Benefits
