Full-Time /Permanent Summary:
Seeking an experienced senior technical resource to join a dynamic MSP support team. This role drives Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalations while delivering advanced infrastructure improvements for diverse clients. Description - IT Support Engineer /Systems Administrator:
Own and resolve escalated technical issues across multiple client environments. Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and related infrastructure. Support Microsoft 365 identity, security, MFA, Conditional Access, permissions, licensing, and authentication. Troubleshoot Exchange Online, mail flow, DNS, and email authentication issues. Assist with Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant changes, identity transitions, and post-migration troubleshooting. Troubleshoot Windows Server, virtualization, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, networking, and other infrastructure issues. Identify recurring problems and opportunities to improve the reliability, security, and manageability of customer environments. Plan and execute customer improvement projects, including Microsoft 365 changes, security improvements, infrastructure upgrades, migrations, software deployments, and remediation work. Assist Tier 1/2 technicians with complex issues through troubleshooting guidance and knowledge transfer. Create and maintain technical documentation for client environments, projects, and support procedures. Communicate directly with customers regarding technical issues, project work, recommendations, and remediation plans. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing after-hours technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating incidents as needed to ensure timely resolution. Qualifications - IT Support Engineer /Systems Administrator:
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or as a senior technical resource within an MSP environment. Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Windows Server, and hybrid infrastructure. Demonstrated experience with Exchange Online, mail flow, DNS, email authentication, virtualization, and Group Policy. Strong background in security administration including MFA, Conditional Access, and identity management. Proven ability to independently take technical problems and customer improvement projects from investigation through implementation. Excellent customer-facing communication skills paired with a talent for mentoring junior technicians and creating clear technical documentation.Benefits:
