Description:
C3EL is seeking a Cross-Functional IT Support Specialist to support our mission at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The professional will provide flexible cross-functional coverage across application support and end-user equipment support. This role is designed to preserve continuity of services, absorb workload spikes, backfill planned/unplanned absences, and support application transitions and fiscal-year-end demand.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide application/account support, troubleshooting, ticket management, and higher-tier escalation as workload requires. Provide desktop, printer, workstation move, peripheral, and desk-to-switch connectivity support as required. Backfill team members during planned/unplanned absences and support continuity during turnover or onboarding periods. Assist with application transitions, account migrations, new-user setups, relocations, and configuration changes. Proactively identify recurring support issues and contribute to SOPs, knowledge bases, diagrams, and central documentation. Coordinate with Government application administrators, DISA Tier II/III teams, field sites, and other support organizations. Provide additional coverage during elevated workload periods, including the Government fiscal-year fourth quarter. Support weekly metrics and reporting by maintaining complete and accurate support records.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship. Broad experience across application/user support and desktop/end-user support functions. Experience with ticket management, account administration, workstation/peripheral troubleshooting, and basic network troubleshooting. Ability to shift between support functions based on mission priorities and staffing needs. Ability to meet applicable DISA personnel security and network-access requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
DoD/federal enterprise support experience. Experience with SPS/PD2, ECWM, or similar Government business applications. Previous DISA support experience. IT service-management or DoD-approved cybersecurity certification relevant to assigned duties. Education /

High school diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
