Position Summary The Site IT Support Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supporting all IT-related activities at the construction site and throughout the overall project lifecycle, working closely with the Site IT Lead, Project IT Manager (Digital Partner for Business Project), local users, and TEN Digiteam specialists. The role serves as the primary on-site point of support for day-to-day IT operations and helps ensure reliable access to the technology, equipment, connectivity, and services required by project teams. This position provides hands-on technical support across end-user computing, peripherals, local network connectivity, application support, and site IT operations. The Site IT Support Engineer performs equipment installation and configuration, first-level maintenance and troubleshooting, user support, and local implementation activities while escalating issues to the appropriate Site IT Lead or TEN Digiteam specialist when additional expertise is required. Key Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities Install, configure, deploy, and maintain PCs, workstations, and other end-user IT equipment used by project and construction-site personnel. Connect PCs, printers, plotters, and supported devices to the local area network (LAN) and verify proper connectivity and operation. Install, configure, test, and support printers and plotters, including setup of printer configurations on user PCs and workstations. Provide day-to-day first-level technical support to site users for hardware, software, workstation, printer, plotter, and connectivity issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot user-reported problems, identify the source of the issue, implement appropriate first-level corrective actions, and escalate unresolved issues when required. Perform routine maintenance of site printers and peripherals, including replacement or coordination of ink, toner, drums, and other consumable items. Provide first-level support for application-related problems and act as the liaison between local users and the Site IT Lead or appropriate TEN Digiteam specialist. Provide first-level troubleshooting of network and connectivity issues, including basic LAN and TCP/IP-related problems. Support the availability and reliable operation of site IT equipment and tools needed for daily project execution. Maintain effective communication with users regarding issue status, troubleshooting actions, escalation, and resolution. Site IT Operations / Additional Duties Provide local Helpdesk support and serve as an accessible first point of contact for site IT questions and incidents. Assist the Site IT Lead with day-to-day IT operations, priorities, user requests, equipment support, and site technology needs. Perform local implementation and maintenance activities in coordination with TEN Digiteam Specialists and in accordance with established instructions and project requirements. Participate in site IT audits and support the collection, verification, and communication of information required for audit activities. Provide relevant local operational information to TEN Global Digiteam specialists, including service indicators, telecommunications monitoring information, and server performance information. Support coordination of IT activities during project mobilization, ongoing site operations, and other phases of the project lifecycle as directed by the Site IT Lead or Project IT Manager. Assist with local technology changes, deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities when requested.
