Job Description
The role at a glance ElmGrid Intelligent Networks is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to support our day to day technology operations and help maintain a secure, reliable IT environment. This is a full time position for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, and keeping business systems running efficiently. You will work across hardware, software, network, and user support while partnering with teams throughout the organization. Where you fit in In this role, you will: Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other business equipment. Install, configure, and maintain Windows and cloud based systems. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security. Perform routine system updates, maintenance, and software deployments. Monitor IT systems and respond to service requests in a timely manner. Document technical procedures, support activities, and system changes. Assist with network administration, backups, and disaster recovery processes. Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve IT services. What you'll bring At least 3 years of professional experience in an IT support or systems administration role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. Experience supporting network infrastructure, hardware, and business applications. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and user access management. Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work independently. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus. Schedule, pay and location Monday through Friday Standard day shift Starting salary of $53,000 per year, with opportunities for increases based on experience and performance Benefits are available in accordance with company policy.
