Important Details:

This position will be located at Fort Leonard Wood (316 Missouri Ave, Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473) Candidates will need to be on-site one day per week (excluding Friday) from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST)

Course:

Introduction to Information Technology This course provides an introduction to the role of computing technology within business and corporate environments. Introductions to concepts, terminologies, and a wide use of relevant daily software and tools relevant to any career in the information technology field.

Topics include:

Technology-integrated academics, digital networking concepts, systems administration and maintenance, information security, database and transactional systems, cloud technologies, scripting, and project management.

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions Engage students in learning course objectives and topics Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom Provide a positive example to students by supporting the

University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University What You Will Bring:

Masters (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 2-5 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organizations. All instructors must have skills in latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures. Preference given to individuals holding current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server. • OR- Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology or related field. All instructors must have 7-10 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organization. All instructors must have skills in the latest MS Server and Linux Administration, Server Roles, Active Directory management, and the ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures.
