File Savers Data Recovery is looking for an entry-level Flash Media Data Recovery Technician to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to learn a specialized technical field while working alongside experienced professionals who will help you develop the skills needed to build a long-term career in data recovery. You don't need years of data recovery experience to succeed in this position. We're looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and willing to grow with our team. What You'll Learn & Do As you develop your skills, you'll work with a variety of storage devices and learn how to diagnose and recover data from: USB flash drives SSDs and other storage devices SD and memory cards Phones and mobile devices Computers and MacBooks Camera cards and other removable media Your responsibilities will include: Learning to diagnose failed, damaged, or corrupted storage devices. Creating drive images and safely extracting recoverable data. Learning logical and physical data recovery techniques. Troubleshooting file-system and storage-related problems. Using specialized data recovery software and hardware. Inspecting USB connectors, circuit boards, memory chips, and related components. Documenting recovery procedures and results. Protecting customer data and maintaining strict confidentiality. Working with experienced team members to troubleshoot challenging cases.
