We're growing fast, and we don't wait for deals to come to us. We're looking for an experienced purchasing professional who can proactively build a pipeline of equipment sellers, value hardware accurately, and close acquisitions at the right price. What you'll do Make a high volume of outbound calls daily (target: ~100/day) to businesses and IT managers to source equipment and build supplier relationships Work inbound buyback requests alongside your outbound sourcing Assess equipment based on specs, age, and condition to determine fair market value Set purchase prices that protect our margin while staying competitive enough to win the deal Negotiate and close acquisitions with business owners and IT managers Coordinate with operations on shipping, intake, and testing once a deal is agreed Keep accurate records of every acquisition and all pipeline activity Track resale-market pricing so our offers stay sharp What we're looking for 3-5 years minimum experience in IT hardware purchasing, ITAD, refurbished electronics, wholesale IT distribution, or a closely related field Comfort with high-volume outbound calling — this role is built around proactive sourcing, not just inbound leads A confident, resilient negotiator who can handle rejection and keep dialing Strong ability to value IT equipment quickly and accurately Highly organized — able to manage a large pipeline and many open offers at once Disciplined about margin and pricing Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with CRM or inventory tracking tools Nice to have Existing relationships with IT equipment sellers, brokers, or refurbishers A working sense of how business IT equipment depreciates and refreshes Compensation Base salary plus commission tied to acquisitions closed and inventory secured
