This role is designed to provide hands-on experience aligned with a Desktop Support Technician career path. This position will work under the direction of the Technology Support Manager. Essential Duties Summary
- Provide Tier 1 desktop support for Windows and macOS systems
- Troubleshoot hardware issues (PCs, laptops, monitors, printers)
- Assist with software, OS, email, and network connectivity issues
- Log and track requests using an IT ticketing system
- Provide basic classroom and lab technology support
- Assist with computer imaging, setup, and inventory
- Communicate clearly and professionally with end users Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Windows or macOS
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow IT procedures Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Familiarity with Active Directory or ticketing systems
