We're looking for a reliable, skilled IT Technician who can handle a wide range of hands‑on technical tasks for our clients. Role Overview The IT Technician will perform day‑to‑day service calls, assist with IT projects, and support end users at client locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety — one day you might be fixing a printer, the next you're setting up 20 new workstations for a site deployment. Key Responsibilities Field Support — Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, printers, credit‑card terminals, and other peripherals. User Assistance — Provide on‑site help to end users, including account setup, password resets, and basic training. Device Setup — Configure new laptops/desktops, install software, join devices to domains, and perform data backups/migrations. Email Configuration — Set up Outlook profiles, troubleshoot sync issues, configure mobile email. Networking Basics — Assist with small network setups, router/switch installation, cabling, and connectivity troubleshooting. Project Work — Support IT rollouts such as office moves, workstation deployments, POS installations, and hardware refreshes. Documentation — Maintain clear notes on completed work, ticket updates, and client communication. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and basic email configuration Ability to diagnose and repair common hardware issues Familiarity with printers, scanners, POS systems, and peripherals Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting) Excellent communication and customer‑service skills Ability to work independently at client sites Preferred Experience Prior field‑tech or helpdesk experience Experience with ticketing systems Knowledge of Active Directory (user creation, password resets) Experience with data backup and migration tools What We Offer Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Opportunities for growth into project management or senior technician roles Work variety — no two days are the same Supportive team and training resources
