Job Description
Technical Support Specialist A global leader is looking for someone with knowledge of industrial or print production equipment and mechanical systems for their Technical Support Specialist role. You'll provide technical assistance to customers and over-the-road industrial machinery mechanics servicing the company's innovative commercial equipment. Responsibilities of the Technical Support Specialist Provide phone and email-based technical support for equipment issues Troubleshoot, diagnose, and document mechanical and electrical problems based on reports and diagrams Read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) Coordinate field service schedules and provide logistical support Maintain accurate records of support interactions and case resolutions Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support coverage Communicate effectively with customers, technicians, and internal departments Travel occasionally as may be required for training purposes Qualifications of the Technical Support Specialist 3-5 years of experience in technical support, service coordination, or a similar role Technical education or equivalent practical experience Familiarity with industrial or print production equipment Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience with internal support, ERP, or ticketing systems Good written and verbal communication skills; multilingual skills are a plus Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and BOMs Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams) Highly organized with attention to detail Valid driver's license Please share your resume in confidence for this direct-hire Technical Support Specialist opportunity offering $32.89-$39.43/hour, DOE.
