Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled IT Engineer to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure solutions that support our organizational goals. Your expertise will drive the development and optimization of virtualization environments, cloud integrations, and system automation to ensure seamless operations across diverse platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the evolution of our IT landscape. Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage virtualization solutions using VMware and other industry-leading tools to optimize resource utilization and system performance. Maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting to streamline routine tasks and improve system efficiency. Configure and support operating systems including Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments for diverse enterprise applications. Manage IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, networks (VPNs), and APIs to ensure reliable connectivity and data flow. Collaborate within Agile teams following SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles to deliver high-quality software solutions. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues proactively, and implement improvements to enhance overall stability. Support DevOps practices by integrating automation tools, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and scripting techniques. Assist in the migration of on-premises systems to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure while ensuring minimal disruption. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for auditability and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience working with VMware virtualization technologies in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX), networking (VPNs), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure). Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), with scripting skills for automation purposes. Familiarity with SQL databases like Oracle or SQL Server for data management tasks. Experience with DevOps tools and practices including APIs integration, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting automation. Understanding of SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks for software development projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
