Micrologic is seeking a qualified IT Field Installation Technician to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced & professional personnel. The IT Field Installation Technician will be an integral part of the Technical Support team.
Essential Job Functions Include:
Must be willing to travel across the US to scheduled installations. Starting May 7, 2025, TSA will require a REAL ID or passport for ALL air travel. Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules. Produce timely and detailed service reports. Providing customer service and troubleshooting in a technically oriented and detailed manner with an ability to learn product line quickly. Ability to work with our clients in a timely manner Ability to maintain calm in stressful situations Aptitude for, and interest in learning new technologies Performing duties with a neat appearance, and be well organized with the ability to multitask Performance helpdesk tech support in the office when not in the field
Skills & Knowledge:
Technical background and customer support experience required Proven field service experience Must have basic computer and networking skills. Establish assistance by studying system requirements, completing the installation, and performing quality assurance tests. Superb customer service, communication, and self-management skills Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols. Duties include onsite technical and product support, diagnosis and repair of hardware, installation of peripherals. You must have an ability to instruct system users of all levels of computer skill sets. Must be willing to work independently and provide status reports to managers. Benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
