Our working schedule prioritizes work-life balance. We work Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm with no surprise overtime. When overtime is needed, it is not mandatory, and we would ask if you are available.
What we expect:
IT Asset Management Group/ RefurbConnect has an immediate opening for a full-time Computer Technician. The technician must have the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and rebuild desktop and laptop computers, or other related hardware systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Test functionality of primarily Laptops as well as PCs, Macs, tablets, and other hardware. Diagnose and identify hardware failure or software problems. Perform advanced hardware rebuilds, repairs, and component replacements, including but not limited to top lids, components, keyboards, screens, batteries, etc. Troubleshoot and install operating systems, software and drivers, and load images. Complete assigned work orders within established time frames. Document incoming equipment information and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure quality control standards are being met or exceeded. Follow established processes and procedures. Test functionality of PCs, Macs, laptops, tablets, phones, printers, servers, and other hardware.
Education, Experience, & Training:
2 year associates or technical degree is required Minimum of 2+ years experience as a computer technician or related position CompTIA and/or A+ certification preferred Knowledge of networking (routers/switches) and storage a plus Proficient with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems
Skills & Abilities:
Highly-organized and detail-oriented Able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines Must communicate effectively and work well with others Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
