Duties Help As an IT SPEC (PLVYPLN), GS-2210-11, you will serve as a technical advisor to local base informion technology (IT) and communicions users in the area of policy and plans as reled to IT and communicions systems. This involves planning, development, management, and enforcement of approved ANG and local informion technology (IT) and communicions architecture. You will serves as the lead manager of IT and communicions projects, acquisition and control of equipment and services Flying Wing, tenants and geographically separed units if assigned. Sixty percent of the work performed involves Informion Technology issues and systems with the remaining forty percent involving telecommunicions specific issues and systems. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a two year trial period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. For positions requiring the operion of motor vehicles, candides must have a valid ste driver's license for the ste in which they live or are principally employed. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Experience, educion, and/or training th has provided a basic knowledge of da processing functions and general management principles th enabled the applicant to understand the stages required to autome a work process. Experience may have been gained in work such as computer operor or assistant, computer sales representive, program analyst, or other positions th required the use or adaption of computer programs and systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must have one year specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade. Must have experience analyzing plans and specificions, prepares justificions for new or enhanced informion technology. Must have experience assessing policy needs and reviews, revises, and develops policies to govern IT activities and presents recommendions to higher-level management. Must have experience planning, and developing methods, procedures, policies, and techniques concerning telecommunicion systems. Must have experience implementing various IT and communicions programs.
