Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30

PM Position Overview:

We are currently seeking detail-oriented and dependable candidates for a Computer Configuration Technician position. This role supports value-added customer services including computer imaging, configuration, asset tagging, and device customization. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting abilities, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Imaging and configuring computers, including running OS upgrades UV printing, etching, or skinning of devices Asset tagging and inventory support Reading and interpreting technical manuals and bills of materials Backing up and deploying images to PCs and laptops Running diagnostic software and troubleshooting hardware/software issues Creating and following work instructions Supporting warehouse and production operations as needed

Requirements:

Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills Experience with Windows Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10) Experience using Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook Knowledge of PC hardware and architecture Experience configuring BIOS and motherboard settings Understanding of imaging tools such as Acronis, Ghost, and MDT Basic DOS knowledge for deployment scripting Ability to learn new applications and systems quickly Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year of directly related experience

Additional Requirements:

Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Pay:

$19.00 per hour
