Duties Provides the primary support for the credit union's computer systems, networks, and equipment which includes but is not limited to planning, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting network and system hardware and software. Finding, vetting, and maintaining relationships with vendors. Maintain all logs and documentation. Ensure the security of sensitive data. Works with auditors and examiners during review of our systems and controls. Remediates/addresses any findings. Build and maintain risk assessments as it relates to network, data, equipment, physical locations, and vendors. Participates in short and long-range planning for the credit union to select and utilize appropriate technologies to meet the evolving needs of the Credit Union and its members. Includes research and implementation of new products and services. Oversee the credit union's disaster recovery/business continuity plan including but not limited to ensuring the maintenance of hardware and software of backup systems, documentation is updated regularly, and testing is completed and documented regularly. Is a key member of the Disaster Recovery team. Ensure the credit union remains compliant with all rules and regulations that apply to the security of data and physical locations. This includes but is not limited to understanding NIST, working with auditors and examiners as needed, and remediating outstanding items from any resulting reports Collaborate with project management teams to plan and execute technology projects following Agile methodologies. Conduct technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Provide reports and documentation for the CEO/Board of Directors based on guidelines provided regulations. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Skills One year to three years of similar or related experience. (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. Previous data processing experience including networks, PCs, data communications, mainframe and PC programming and data organization. Technical planning, project management, and cybersecurity. Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with other data processing professionals as well as non-technical users. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work and travel independently and use general office equipment, give speeches and make presentations. Knowledge of Windows Server based networked environments and components. Experience with Windows Server operating systems. Experience with VMWare.

Pay:

$29.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 75.0 - 80.0 per week
