Description Tyler Technologies is a leading provider of software solutions and services for local governments. We have an opening for a Technical Services Support Specialist on our Enterprise Assessment & Tax team. Work with our technology-driven solutions for property assessment, tax software and mass appraisal services. From data collection to computer-assisted mass appraisal to tax billing and collections, you can help develop property and recording solutions for the public sector. Responsibilities The Technical Services Support Specialist ensures timely resolution of easy-moderate client software issues through data analysis and functionality troubleshooting using multiple development tools, best practice communication, team coordinated testing, and other available tools for resolving issues. The Technical Services Support Specialist is expected to continually grow and expand knowledge of the product. This position is 8am - 5pm EDT with a work arrangement of in-office Tuesday through Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Resolves client inquiries and issues in a timely manner; communicates closure effectively through email and phone communications. Uses and programs SQL to resolve basic to moderate issues. Documents and records all aspects of client interactions in designated client management systems to promote transparency and understanding of technical issues. Manages open calls by identifying and prioritizing issues according to p ublished policies. Escalates to senior team member or department member if situation is beyond ability and additional assistance is needed. Identifies and meets service measurements and metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Collaborates with other teams, departments and divisions with issues pertaining to Tyler software applications. May contribute to company knowledge library. May conduct training for end-users, virtual or in-person May participate in User Group meetings and activities. Follows documented Tyler Technologies policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to travel Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience. 1 - 2 years of experience of relevant experience Basic knowledge and understanding of database structures including fields, tables, views, database objects, etc. Experience working with relational databases or SQL preferred. Experience working with HTML, XSL, XML, and related technologies preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Demonstrate ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude. Finance or Accounting knowledge or experience helpful, but not required.
