Job Description

Job Summary:
Students will assist with Help Desk operations, by assisting staff to deploy and maintain university computer equipment and communicate information/processes with students, staff and faculty at the Help Desk.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Answering calls at the Help Desk. Entering tickets in the Help Desk system. Setting up equipment in various on-campus locations. Installing software and basic computer troubleshooting. Assisting students and faculty with computer operation. Cleaning equipment and changing printer toner cartridges. Transporting equipment throughout campus. Recording and maintaining inventory records. Assisting the Telecommunications team with wiring or other projects. Other duties as assigned Education Employment eligibility: Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Students must be able to carry monitors, computers, printers, and other equipment for on-campus transport. Computer experience recommended will train for all job functions. Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or more
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must hold valid driver s license (to drive the golf cart)
