Job Description

Sage is looking for a Computer Repair Technician to perform asset processing, detailed evaluation, upgrade, and critical data security functions. This position has the responsibility to bring out the highest value of the products, while also protecting any sensitive data stored on the systems. Why Sage? RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate electronic assets and determine value based in physical and operational condition. Performs data security on electronic assets Configure, upgrade and test computer hardware and peripherals. Inspect, classify, diagnose, disassemble and repair computer hardware. Evaluate and identify hardware for specific disposition (resell, repair, harvest, recycle, etc.). Upgrade products through the addition of new hardware. Adjust, repair and replace worn or defective parts. Enter detailed asset information into the ERP system that is not auto populated by the data security hardware. Install operating system (OS) to computer products per procedure. Unpacks, picks, sorts and palletizes equipment. Assist in the shipping of equipment which may require scanners, forklift and other material handling equipment. Assist distribution staff and warehouse lead to ensure daily company objectives and goals are accomplished. Flexibility to perform work in multiple areas on business need. Cross train in all areas within Operations to ensure site flexibility and contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of the Operations systems and processes. Strong computer literacy Results oriented, team oriented and attention to detail Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in various forms Diagnostic and troubleshooting ability. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Positive Attitude Detailed and results oriented Ability to focus on detailed information accurately Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
