Summary The Associate IT Specialist, Event Technology & Digital Operations supports the delivery of digital event technology solutions across a variety of event types and service offerings. Working under the guidance of experienced team members and leadership, this role assists with event technology setup, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting while developing technical expertise and operational knowledge. The Associate contributes to successful event outcomes by following established processes, supporting client and internal teams, and continuously building proficiency across digital event platforms and tools. This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations: Dallas, TX Las Vegas, NV Orlando, FL Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support the setup, testing, execution, and breakdown of digital event technology solutions for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events. Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices to ensure accurate and consistent event delivery. Assist with monitoring event technologies during live event operations and escalate issues as needed. Provide basic troubleshooting and operational support for digital platforms, hardware, and event technology systems. Collaborate with internal teams to support event requirements and operational objectives. Participate in client-facing interactions as directed, helping to ensure a positive customer experience. Assist with event preparation activities, including system configuration, content management, and quality assurance testing. Support local labor and onsite resources when assigned to specific event deployments. Maintain accurate documentation, event records, and operational reports as required. Participate in training opportunities and continuous learning initiatives to expand technical and industry knowledge. Contribute ideas for process improvements while gaining familiarity with departmental standards and operational practices. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required. 0-2 years of experience in event technology, information technology, digital operations, audiovisual services, or a related technical environment. Experience supporting live, virtual, or hybrid events is preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic understanding of digital event technology platforms and tools. Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and processes quickly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality execution. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service orientation and professionalism. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and travel as business needs require. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to virtual, hybrid, or live event technologies. Familiarity with ticketing, collaboration, or event management platforms. Experience working in SOP-driven or operational environments. Interest in developing technical expertise within event technology and digital operations.
