Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a Full-time IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support to office staff. This role focuses on hands-on hardware troubleshooting, Microsoft 365 administration and support, and general office software assistance. The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable helping non-technical staff resolve everyday computer issues. Key Responsibilities Hardware Support
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and other office peripherals
  • Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues (connectivity, peripherals, printers, docking stations)
  • Perform basic hardware installations and upgrades (RAM, storage, cables, accessories)
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements with vendors as needed Microsoft 365 Support
  • Manage user accounts, mailboxes, and permissions in Microsoft 365 admin center
  • Provide support for Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Troubleshoot login, sync, and access issues across M365 apps
  • Assist with basic license assignment and account provisioning/deprovisioning Office Software Support
  • Provide first-line support for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other clinic specific software applications
  • Help staff with software installation, updates, and basic configuration
  • Troubleshoot printing, file-sharing, and application errors
  • Create simple how-to guides or quick reference sheets for common issues General Duties
  • Respond to help desk requests in person, by phone, or via email in a timely manner
  • Log and track support tickets/issues for recurring problem identification
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed
  • Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor when assisting staff of all technical skill levels Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or similar role (internships/coursework considered)
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic PC hardware
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users Preferred
  • Associate's degree or certification in IT, Computer Science, or related field (e.g., CompTIA A+)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 admin center or basic user/license management
  • Experience supporting a small office or business environment Flexible scheduling within standard business hours; specific days/hours to be discussed On-site presence required
  • Ability to travel between clinics Compensation
  • $25-30/hour, commensurate with experience Physical requirements
  • Prolong time sitting at a desk

Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
