Job Description

Job Summary The Route Service Technician I performs Route collections, Redemption Terminal Fills, basic accounting functions, basic installation, basic maintenance, entry level troubleshooting, and minor repair of slot machines and related gaming equipment under direct supervision. The Route Service Technician will also occasionally assist with assembly and preparation of Slot Machines for deployment and installation. This position will be accountable for the accuracy of each machine drop and fills as defined by the accounting systems within the KS route through Custom Tech Games. This role is intended for entry-level technicians developing foundational knowledge of route operations, gaming systems, electronics, and customer service. Duties Perform Route collections on assigned locations on a weekly basis. Perform Redemption Terminal fills as assigned or needed. Perform basic preventative maintenance on gaming machines. Assemble and Prepare machines for customer delivery Assist senior technicians with repairs, conversions, software upgrades, engineering updates and machine installations. Replace peripherals e.g. bill validators, printers, buttons, game boards, monitors, lighting, and other peripheral components. Clean and maintain gaming equipment and service areas. Respond to machine tilt conditions and basic operational issues. Document collections, fills, service calls, repairs, machine prep., and parts usage accurately. Follow gaming regulations, company policies, and security procedures. Maintain a professional appearance and positive guest interaction. Learn slot accounting interfaces, Player Tracking systems and diagnostic software as required. Participate in technical training programs. Maintain a clean and soundly functional company vehicle reporting any mechanical operation anomalies. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude. Basic accounting knowledge Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, Travel with overnight stays and holidays.

• Ability to maintain a clean driving record Preferred Qualifications Technical school or vocational electronics training. Experience with low-voltage electronics or computer repair. 2 years of experience in Electronics or Computer Science Fields Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined areas for extended periods. Key Responsibilities Performance Expectations Collect drop money from assigned route location and accurately report back collections and audit tickets. Fill Redemption machines with allocated amounts and make the required Redemption Terminal changes/updates. Rendezvous with office staff to deposit collections and exchange equipment or fills as needed on a weekly basis. Basic repair of all gaming device components. Maintain accurate service documentation and parts tracking. Respond to assigned service calls within established response-time standards. Complete preventative maintenance assignments on schedule with minimal errors. Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability. Achieve proficiency on assigned machine types within first 6-12 months. Maintain professional guest interaction standards. Demonstrate safe handling of tools, equipment, and ESD-sensitive components. Successfully complete all required technical and compliance training. Maintain a low repeat-call rate on completed repairs. Follow chain-of-command and escalation procedures appropriately. Perform Route related duties as required Installs, removals, conversions, software upgrades, collections, redemption terminal fills and repairs Assist with Custom Tech fulfillments Assist with warehouse and inventory duties as needed

Pay:

$38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
