Job Description
Job Summary
DPP is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Onsite in Columbia, SC
Duration:
11 months
Terms:
W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance, which requires a thorough background search and US citizenship. Residency requirements may apply.
Position Description:
The Technology Support Specialist I will join the Technology Support Center (TSC) and actively resolve routine to moderately complex technical needs of customers by managing problems and suggesting solutions.
Research, resolve and respond to requests received from customers.
Ensure documentation and processes are current as business and technology changes evolve.
Manage inbound phone calls.
Assist with basic troubleshooting (unlocks, resets, clearing cache/cookies, etc.)
This is for an after-hours position. Must be willing to work nights and/or weekends indefinitely.
Hours you will potentially be asked to work:
Sat-Tues, 8:00AM-6:30PM
Fri-Sun, 5:30PM-7:00AM
Mon-Wed, 5:30PM-7:00AM
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or job-related degree;
OR an Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree;
OR 2 years of job-related work experience plus 2 years of technical help desk experience or other job-related experience.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Experience in customer service and help desk support.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, RSA, and Knowledge Base
