Help Desk IT Specialist Cache Valley Electric | Spur, Texas Cache Valley Electric (CVE) is looking for a Help Desk IT Specialist to join our team and provide hands-on technical support across our systems and end users. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with a wide variety of hardware and software, and being part of a team that keeps a large, growing company running smoothly. What You'll Do Provide technical support for end-user devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals Maintain and update helpdesk tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution Set up, maintain, and support end user accounts and email mailbox settings Participate in onboarding and offboarding of user accounts and IT equipment Configure, install, maintain, support, and repair peripheral devices and printers Maintain, replace, and service Windows and Mac computers Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets, and track equipment assignments and returns Assist with administration and management of anti-virus and malware software systems Set up, maintain, and support file servers, shares, and external file access systems Install and troubleshoot CVE-adopted software packages Set up and maintain IT systems at job site locations across the United States (some limited travel may be required) Configure network switch ports and basic network equipment for remote locations Configure and maintain Cisco IP Phones Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support Support Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and mobile device management Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) What You Bring Self-starter with strong leadership skills, the ability to work well with others, and excellent communication skills Ability to manage time, priorities, and deadlines effectively Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment while contributing to process improvement Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Batch) Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Office 365, current desktop and server operating systems, DNS, DHCP, and print services Cisco Network / Cisco Meraki experience preferred A+/Net+ certification preferred Must be able to pass a background check
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
