Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused MSP Help Desk Technician to join our growing IT support team. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues while providing excellent customer service to our clients. Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support for clients, troubleshooting and resolving escalated issues related to hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies. Perform system and network administration tasks such as server management, backups, and monitoring. Assist with infrastructure management, including virtual environments, firewalls, and routers. Document solutions, resolutions, and best practices in our ticketing system. Participate in the implementation of new technologies and assist with client onboarding. Collaborate with other team members to deliver seamless IT services and resolve complex issues. Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and a customer-focused attitude.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in an IT support role, ideally within an MSP environment. 3-5 years experience in an IT support role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs. Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, and cloud technologies. Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V). Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are a plus.
Valid Drivers License Preferred Experience:
Experience with security tools (antivirus, firewall configurations, etc.). Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools. Knowledge of macOS and Linux systems.
