Job Description

Location:

  • Onsite Projected 3-6 month contract with potential for conversion KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a IT Support Specialist
  • Windows/M365 | Desktop & Multi-Site Support Compensation depends on experience but is typically $18

Our client operates roughly 80 outpatient clinics, and every one of them depends on technology working. We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to be the person our client's clinical and administrative teams reach when something is not working, and to make sure it gets fixed. This position provides first-line technology support across a growing, multi-site clinical environment. This is a real first-line support role. You will take requests by phone, email, and ticket, work through them, and close them out. You will replace hardware, set up laptops and phones for new hires, help clinics get printers and payment terminals working, troubleshoot basic connectivity issues, and travel out to clinic locations when something needs hands on it. Some days that means solving the same problem five times. Other days it means driving to a clinic and being the reason they can see patients that afternoon. The broader technology environment includes Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and multi-site clinic networking and connectivity. This role provides first-line support within that environment and escalates deeper systems, network, endpoint management, and infrastructure issues when needed. We are more interested in how you think and whether people can count on you than in how long your resume is. If you have certifications and help desk experience, great. If you are early in your career, technically curious, and the kind of person who follows through without being reminded, we would like to talk to you. What you'll do Take in support requests, prioritize them, work them, and document what you did. Fix issues at the desktop and device level, including software installs, hardware swaps, and configuration. Set up equipment and accounts for new hires, and make sure access is removed when people leave. Support clinic technology including workstations, printers, phones, tablets, and payment terminals. Provide first-line troubleshooting for Windows, Microsoft 365, devices, and basic network/connectivity issues. Travel to clinics for hardware replacements, installs, and issues that cannot be fixed remotely. Escalate the things that need deeper technical involvement, including systems, network, endpoint management, and infrastructure issues, and learn from how they get solved. Keep asset records accurate and write up the fixes that other people will need later. What we're looking for An aptitude for troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365, and a willingness to learn quickly. Comfort with basic computer hardware, including PCs, printers, and peripherals. Basic understanding of network/connectivity troubleshooting and the ability to identify when an issue needs to be escalated. Genuinely good communication. You will be talking to therapists and front office staff, not engineers. Dependability. Clinics need to know their request is being handled. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to clinic locations as needed. Comfort working around protected health information, or willingness to be trained on it properly. Ability to work onsite in Cottonwood Heights and travel to clinic locations as needed. This role should be expected to be primarily onsite, particularly during the initial training and transition period. Nice to have A year or more in help desk, technical support, or a similar role. A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications, or technical coursework. Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or an IT ticketing platform. Experience supporting technology across multiple locations. Interest in scripting and automation, such as PowerShell or Power Automate. Compensation depends on experience but is typically $18
  • $23/hr.
