Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist - Onsite for a contract to hire position with a Manufacturing Company located in Kamas, UT. This position is fully onsite.
Compensation:
Up to $35.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
The IT Support Specialist provides mid-tier, cross-domain technical support across end-userputing, access management, basic networking, and core business applications. This position will be responsible for resolving escalated issues,pleting routine operational tasks, and ensuring employees have reliable and productive technology experiences. This role also serves as a primary local IT contact for assigned sites, providing direct user support while coordinating with the Service Desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to escalated incidents involving devices, access, connectivity, ing, and applications
Troubleshoot technical issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, including performance problems, peripheral and hardware failures, and provide hardware diagnostics andponent replacements
Support end-users with login issues, MFA incidents, and account access troubleshooting, as well as entry-level Active Directory tasks
Handle device and peripheral support including installation, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, and ers
Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks related to device access and application permissions
Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues, including wired/wireless connections, VPN client issues, and perform onsite tasks like cable tracing and port patching
Provide Tier 2 support for enterprise applications such as Microsoft 365, Teams, and OneDrive
Provide system and application administration support as needed for site and/or regional requirements
Contribute updates to knowledge articles, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
Maintain asset records, device inventories, and ticket documentation
Work closely with ServiceDesk, EUC, Networking, Infrastructure, Application, and Cybersecurity teams
Primary Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of IT support experience
- Associate's degree in IT or related field
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS troubleshooting fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate ticket records
- Ability to work onsite in various environments (offices, wiring closets, manufacturing floors)
- Excels in customer service andmunications
