Job Description
About us Computer Hospital is looking for a full time Computer Repair Technician. We are looking for someone who is responsible and who has a strong work history in computer repair. Looking for someone who is certified in apple certifcation or A+ Certifcation Responsibilities You would be expected to perform diagnoses on computers perform computer repair, virus removal, clone to SSD, tune-up, PC-MAC Repair, time machine backups restore, migration, fix Apple products as well as PC. Must have good communication skills and good at sales. Qualifications Need to have at least 3 years of computer repair, and work history needs to be verified. Must have at least 2 year degree in a computer related field or A+ certifiation/Apple Certified and 3 year work history in computer repair. Additional Information Please do not apply unless you have 2 years of computer repair experience or some form of computer releated education, or A+ / Apple certficate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems and applications.
- Set up and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, etc., to provide technical assistance and support.
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and monitoring of the incident to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with the IT team to resolve more complex issues.
Experience:
- Proficient in TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with end-users.
- Experience in software troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and project management.
- Knowledge of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
- Experience with Active Directory for user management.
- Ability to analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Previous experience in a help desk or customer service role is beneficial.
- Experience using ServiceNow for IT service management.
Pay:
$15.00- $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0
