Manassas Park, VA This is a
PART TIME
job, starting pay of $12.77/hour. You must be a HUBZone resident to qualify. See HUBZone Map to check your address and verify it complies with the requirement. •Part-Time (10 hours/week), Monday through Thursday, morning shift (Bi-lingual, Fluent in Spanish and English a plus)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The SSI Career Resource Center (CRC) offers basic computer skills assistance services free of charge to the community. IT Support Techs are responsible for teaching and assisting customers with job-related and personal computer use skills, including: Basic computer use, including keyboard and mouse Microsoft Windows basic use/navigation Web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) use Email setup and use (web-based or Outlook) Basic internet search skills (job postings, family search, educational research) Basic use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Resume formatting
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must reside in SBA HUBZone map area: HUBZone Map Candidate must possess verbal and written communication skills sufficient to complete online and on-the-job training. Ability to work independently on assigned training tasks. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem solving skills. Ability to learn quickly, pick up new concepts and technologies via on-the-job training and assigned reading. Moderate knowledge of personal computers and peripherals such as scanners and printers. Knowledge of and/or hands-on experience with current Windows and/or Apple operating systems Fluent Spanish speaker a plus
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
