The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting hardware, software, Windows and Apple environments, printers, and enterprise IT infrastructure. This role requires a customer-focused technician who is comfortable working independently, resolving technical issues in the field, managing tickets and assets, and escalating complex issues when necessary. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site technical support for customers, including the installation, configuration, maintenance, repair, and replacement of IT hardware and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral-related issues. Install, upgrade, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, notebooks, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment. Configure and deploy new PCs and notebooks using imaging tools, SCCM, and standalone installation processes. Provide support for Windows XP, Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, and iOS environments. Troubleshoot and support network printers, including HP printer configuration, consumable replacements, equipment moves, and connectivity issues. Provide support for Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365/O365, Active Directory, and endpoint security tools. Perform remote and on-site installation and support of hardware and software. Manage and update support tickets while maintaining accurate asset inventory records. Investigate and assist with resolving complex installation, maintenance, and system-related issues. Verify system and equipment functionality and ensure operational quality following installation or repair. Educate and assist end users with the proper operation and maintenance of supported systems and equipment. Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams for additional troubleshooting and resolution. Identify recurring technical issues and assist with analyzing system problem trends. Work in office environments supporting walk-up kiosks, vending machines, network printers, and other connected equipment. Maintain a high level of customer service while supporting users in a fast-paced technical environment. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on IT field support or desktop support experience. Experience with ticket management and IT asset management. Strong experience installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting hardware and software. Experience supporting Windows XP, Windows 10, and Windows 11 . Experience supporting macOS and iOS devices . Experience with network printers , including HP printer configuration, consumable replacements, and equipment moves. Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 (O365) . Experience configuring and deploying PCs and notebooks through imaging, SCCM, and standalone installation methods. Experience providing both remote and hands-on technical support. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds . Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Lenovo or other hardware vendor certifications. CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications are preferred but not required. Apple technical training or certifications are preferred but not required. Work Environment Primarily office-based environment with hands-on, on-site technical support responsibilities. Support may include walk-up kiosks, vending equipment, network printers, desktops, laptops, and other connected IT devices. Ability to move between work areas and handle IT equipment as needed.
