  • Fri Position Overview The primary role of the IT Support
  • Help Desk role is to field help desk calls and support the day-to-day end-user computer operations at Coating Place.
Essential Job Functions Point of contact for all Help Desk calls; log and track requests using ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus. Support end-user computer hardware, software, and phones. Maintain Asset Tracking database. Assist in user training on software and devices. Analyze ongoing issues and propose long-term solutions. Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff or system administrators as needed. Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to support the department's knowledge base and SOPs. Follow all Coating Place cGMP and Coating Place safety practices, policies, and procedures. Employees at Coating Place work with and/or are familiar with the GMP requirements for Food, Dietary Supplements, Pharmaceuticals, or other elements of each. Depending on the position, the employee will be aware of Halal and/or Kosher requirements. Other duties as assigned. Education/Skills/Knowledge Required Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, or enrolled in related program. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft SharePoint Online. Networking (CompTIA equivalent). Computer Basics (CompTIA equivalent). Familiar with Domain infrastructure on Windows Server 2019 and up. Understanding of Virtualization concepts (Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Citrix).
