Job Description
Overview We are seeking a hands-on Business Systems Implementation & Development Engineer who can understand business operations, evaluate and implement enterprise software, develop customized internal applications, and improve workflows through software and AI automation. This role will work closely with sales, purchasing, warehouse, finance, and other internal teams to translate business requirements into practical and maintainable technology solutions. This is not a pure IT support, website development, or project management position. The candidate must be able to participate directly in system implementation, integration, software development, and ongoing optimization. Key Responsibilities Business Systems Implementation and Development Analyze the actual workflows and system requirements of sales, purchasing, warehouse, finance, and other internal teams. Evaluate and select suitable CRM, ERP, WMS, and other enterprise software. Configure, implement, test, and maintain enterprise systems. Perform data migration, system integration, and customized development. Develop lightweight internal software, web applications, administrative portals, dashboards, and business tools based on internal needs. Connect different systems through APIs, webhooks, and databases to enable data synchronization and cross-functional collaboration. Coordinate with internal users and external software vendors to support successful system implementation and adoption. Workflow Optimization and AI Applications Review existing departmental workflows and identify repetitive, inefficient, or error-prone processes. Improve internal workflows using software, code, and automation tools. Apply AI, OCR, RPA, and related technologies to automate the processing of emails, documents, purchase orders, invoices, and business data. Build automated alerts, task assignments, document-routing processes, and management reports. Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed automation workflows. Website Development and Maintenance Design, develop, and maintain the company website and related web pages. Develop front-end pages, back-end functions, forms, and basic user interfaces. Integrate website inquiries, customer information, and web forms with CRM and other internal systems. Maintain website performance, mobile responsiveness, basic SEO, security, and functional updates. Support the development of customer portals, supplier portals, or other web-based tools when needed. Internal IT Systems Support Manage company software accounts, email systems, cloud storage, access permissions, and enterprise applications. Assist employees with system access, permissions, software configuration, and common IT issues. Handle account setup for new employees and access removal for departing employees. Manage software licenses, user access records, system documentation, backups, and basic security settings. Coordinate with external IT service providers when specialized support is required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Practical software development experience. Ability to independently develop, test, deploy, and maintain small-scale software applications or web-based tools. Proficiency in at least one development language or environment, such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, C#, Java, or PHP. Familiarity with front-end development, back-end development, SQL databases, and Git version control. Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, databases, and third-party system integrations. Ability to understand business processes and convert internal requirements into practical software solutions. Strong problem-solving, execution, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills. Ability to work hours that overlap with the U.S. team. Preferred Qualifications Strong English communication skills, with the ability to participate in meetings, understand business requirements, and collaborate with a U.S.-based team. Relevant work, internship, academic, or project experience in software development, enterprise system implementation, system integration, or workflow automation. Experience with CRM, ERP, WMS, or other internal business systems.
