Overview
The Systems Engineer II supports the development and validation of integration processes within a complex data environment. This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, documenting workflows, and collaborating across technical and business teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update documentation for integration processes and workflows
Validate system data to ensure accurate data flow and integrity
Perform data analysis to isolate, review, and verify datasets
Identify issues, report findings, and recommend process improvements
Create documentation outlining process flows, business rules, dependencies, and validation methods
Write and execute T-SQL queries for data validation and analysis
Analyze database-level data and support root-cause investigations
Support development and troubleshooting of basic automation scripts (C# and/or Python)
Build Power BI reports or dashboards to present data insights and trends
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and system expectations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of relational databases and data-driven systems
Experience writing and using T-SQL queries
Ability to analyze complex systems and data flows
Basic experience with C# and/or Python for scripting or automation
Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise data integration or analytics environments
Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization tools
Experience working in evolving or loosely defined process environments
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
