Job Description
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Platform/Solution Architect to join a strategic engagement with a Fortune 500 home goods retailer , working on a new web assortment management platform. You'll architect the system that lets merchandising teams create and schedule incremental catalog updates ("Change Sets"), integrating deeply with the client's Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and translation systems. This role suits someone equally comfortable in a schema-mapping deep-dive and a stakeholder-facing design review. Essential functions Participate in requirements clarification and backlog grooming, working closely with the customer's Product teams Work actively with the architecture team to contribute to system design, particularly around integrations with PIM, DAM, and other enterprise systems Use both AI-assisted and classical engineering methods to develop and test new features Proactively identify and help address risks early, and suggest improvements to the platform's architecture
