This role combines hands-on technical engineering with business development and team growth as the R D base expands. The position is fully onsite in Berthoud, Colorado. Schedule Full time, onsite, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Compensation $100,000 - $150,000 Per Year What You'll Do You will own radar system simulation and analysis, including link budget creation and analysis, working primarily with weather radar and weather radar data processing. You will develop system requirements and manage subsystem requirements flowdown across hardware, firmware, and software, building compliance matrices and verification plans at both the system and subsystem level, then carrying those plans through verification testing. You will define software and firmware system architecture, producing block diagrams and flow charts, and verifying the resulting designs. On the program management side, you will develop and maintain schedules and create workarounds to keep programs on track. Beyond core engineering, you will help grow the business by staying current with new technology publications and competitor products, authoring articles that promote the company and its professional capabilities, and seeking out and submitting proposals for new R D business. As sales permit, you will expand the team through new hires and provide proactive mentoring and training. Required Qualifications Master's degree in engineering with an emphasis in remote sensing 10 years of relevant engineering experience Strong background in weather radar and weather radar data processing Experience with link budget creation and analysis Experience with radar system simulation and analysis Experience developing system and subsystem requirements, compliance matrices, and verification plans Experience with software and firmware system architecture, including block diagrams and flow charts US citizenship (required for this position) Preferred Qualifications Experience authoring technical proposals for R D business development Experience mentoring or leading engineering staff Familiarity with phased array or dual-polarization radar systems Published technical articles or conference papers in remote sensing or radar Compensation and Benefits $100,000 - $150,000 Per Year Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k Paid time off To apply, submit your resume through the application link.
