Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary engineering team, including software, hardware, systems, and test efforts.
Drive technical decisions and execution, ensuring integration across all teams.
Ensure adherence to cost estimates and delivery within the required schedule.
Verify compliance with specifications and manage requirements traceability.
Serve as the primary technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Estimate work packages and support proposal development.
Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team.
Support delivery, installation, and onsite testing, which includes international travel.
Strong systems engineering background with experience in systems design and documentation.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Experience with distributed simulation architectures and training systems.
Familiarity with acquisition processes, standards, and compliance requirements.
Deep understanding of modeling and simulation principles (e.g., HLA/RTI, DIS).Proficiency with requirements management tools such as Jama and documentation tools like Confluence.
Experience with development tools including Atlassian JIRA, Linux, and Windows.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, ICDs, and wiring diagrams. Preferred QualificationsDirect experience qualifying FFS Level D or FTD Level 3 training devices.
Experience with flight simulation systems, rotorcraft technologies, or Garmin G5000 integration.
Knowledge of visual system qualification criteria and motion/controls cueing.
Experience with international deployment logistics.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).Work Environment This position requires the ability to travel within the US and internationally, with travel expected to be less than 25%. Principal Systems Engineer Location:
Orlando, Florida (Onsite) Role Overview As a Principal Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority for a strategic rotary-wing simulator trainer program. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will own the overall technical solution and act as the lead for the entire program, guiding it from design through delivery. This role is similar to a Chief Engineer or senior Systems Engineering leader, responsible for the technical supervision of design, development, testing, and production. Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical solution design and architecture for the program.Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary engineering team, including software, hardware, systems, and test efforts.

Required Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Simulation, or a related discipline.Experience:
10+ years of experience in hardware or software development related to modeling and simulation.3-5+ years in an engineering leadership role.Strong systems engineering background with experience in systems design and documentation.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Experience with distributed simulation architectures and training systems.

Technical Skills:
