You will take industrial controls projects from scope through startup, focusing on PLC programming, SCADA/HMI development, control panels, commissioning, and field troubleshooting. You will work directly with municipal water and wastewater utilities, supporting treatment plants, pump stations, and remote sites. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with controls engineers and utility staff, troubleshoot issues in the field, and take ownership of projects from design through implementation. This is a Direct Hire position required to be fully Onsite. Routine in-state travel throughout Northeast Georgia required. Occasional on-call hours to support customer emergencies.
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial controls, SCADA, or automation Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs Experience with
HMI/SCADA
applications such as VTScada, Wonderware/AVEVA, FactoryTalk View, Ignition, or similar Ability to read and create electrical schematics and P&IDs Working knowledge of process instrumentation, including level, flow, pressure, analytical, 4-20 mA, and discrete I/O Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel to customer sites
Pluses:
Municipal water/wastewater experience VTScada development experience Experience with Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, VPNs, managed switches, or cellular communications Control panel design, fabrication, or UL 508A experience Degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering, engineering technology, instrumentation, or a related field #PRI
